John H. Dow

John was born on April 25th, 1816. John's father was Jonathan Dow and his mother was Sally Hanniford. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Dow and Comfort Brown; his maternal grandparents are Capt Peter Hanniford and <Unknown>. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Jonathan, Dana, Joseph, Jacob, Mark, Levi, Abigail, Comfort, Sally and Polly. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 27 on March 4th, 1844.
