George Hamilton Dow

George was born on March 23rd, 1819. George's father was Samuel Dow and his mother was Louisa L. Smith. His paternal grandparents were John Dow and Elizabeth Mace. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Horace, Elizabeth, Martha and Louisa. He was the third oldest of the six children.
