Samuel Dow

Samuel was born on August 19th, 1784. Samuel's father was John Dow and his mother was Elizabeth Mace. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Dow and Mary Batchelder; his maternal grandparents are Samuel Mace and Sarah May. He had a brother and four sisters, named John, Olive, Sarah, Elizabeth and Nancy. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died before 1863.

General Notes
- Samuel was a lieutenant in the 3rd New Hampshire Militia in 1814, later in Col Lovering's regiment. He received a grant of land and settled in Enosburg, Vermont.
