John Blair

John was born in 1710 in Blair, Athall, Perth, Scotland.¹ John's father was Robert Blair and his mother was Isabel Rankin. His paternal grandfather was Robert Blair and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were David Rankin and <Unknown>. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Matthew, David, William, James, Francis, Robert, Joseph, Dolly, Sarah, Dorothy, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 86 on May 21st, 1796.¹
