William Anderson

William was born in 1861 in Drainie, Lossiemouth, Morayshire, Scotland. William's father was Alex Anderson and his mother was Mary Ann McDonald. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Anderson and Margaret McIntyre; his maternal grandparents were John McDonald and Isobel McKenzie. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, John, Hugh, Daniel, Isabella, Margaret and Marjory. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
