Hans' father was Jüri and his mother is Kai. His paternal grandparents were Märt and Mai; his maternal grandparents were Henno and Mai. He has two sisters named Ann and Mari. He has two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Toomas, Andres, Ann and Mari.
