Mari's father was Jüri and her mother is Kai. Her paternal grandparents were Märt and Mai; her maternal grandparents were Henno and Mai. She has a brother and a sister, named Hans and Ann. She has two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Toomas, Andres, Ann and Mari.
