Emmett Ray Heiney

Emmett Ray was born on January 3rd, 1905 in Meigs County, OH. Emmett Ray's father was Dallas Vane Heiney and his mother was Mary Charlotte Cowdrey (Heiney). His paternal grandparents were Thomas Newton Heiney and Sophronia M. Barrows. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Elza Monroe, Everett Weston, Frederick Thomas, Arthur Dallas, Clarence Vane, Robert, Albert Eugene, Sarah Daisy Catherine, Alice and Mary Ellen. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 76 on February 19th, 1981.
