Elza Monroe Heiney

Elza Monroe was born on May 17th, 1903 in Meigs County, OH. Elza Monroe's father was Dallas Vane Heiney and his mother was Mary Charlotte Cowdrey (Heiney). His paternal grandparents were Thomas Newton Heiney and Sophronia M. Barrows. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Emmett Ray, Everett Weston, Frederick Thomas, Arthur Dallas, Clarence Vane, Robert, Albert Eugene, Sarah Daisy Catherine, Alice and Mary Ellen. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 77 on April 18th, 1981.
