László was born on January 6th, 1688 in Fülek.  László's father was Sándor Vécsey and his mother was Mária Szelényi.  His paternal grandparents were Sándor Vécsey and Mária Chapy. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Sándor, István, Erzsébet, Júlia and Zsuzsanna.  He died at the age of 70 on May 8th, 1758 in Szenna.
