Antal's father was Miklós Vécsey and his mother was Vilma Markovics. His paternal grandparents were Miklós Vécsey and Anna Mária Orczy. He had two brothers and two sisters, named József, Miklós, Erzsébet and Mária. He died on June 22nd, 1859 in Castek Venzago, Lombardia.-
