Lídia's father was Ferenc Asbóth and her mother was Zsuzsanna Németh.  Her paternal grandparents were Ferenc Asbóth and Eszter Mesterházy. She had three brothers and two sisters, named József, Ferenc, Ferenc, Eszter and Anna.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 26 on October 16th, 1892.¹
