Ferenc's father was Ferenc Asbóth and his mother was Zsuzsanna Németh.  His paternal grandparents were Ferenc Asbóth and Eszter Mesterházy. He had two brothers and three sisters, named József, Ferenc, Lídia, Eszter and Anna.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 58 on May 20th, 1938 in Sopron.²
