István Körtvélyesi

István was born in January 1863 in Tabajd and his baptism took place there on January 22nd, 1863.¹   István's father was József Körtvelesi and his mother was Julianna Szabó.  His paternal grandparents were János Körtvélyesi and Judit Szalai. He had three brothers and four sisters, named József, András, Benjamin, Erzsébet, Mária, Julianna and Lidia.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at 2 months old on March 2nd, 1863 in Tabajd.²
