Irén Körtvélyesi

Irén was born on March 25th, 1884 in Szabadka and her baptism took place on March 25th, 1884 in Szabadka Szent Teréz.¹

Irén's father was Kálmán Körtvélyessy and her mother was Terézia Janiga.  Her paternal grandparents were Pál Körtvélyesi and Teréz Vörös. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Pál, Kálmán, Margit Anna and Amália.  She was the second youngest of the five children.
