Kálmán Körtvélyesi

Kálmán was born in July 1886 in Szabadka and his baptism took place there on July 26th, 1886.¹   Kálmán's father was Kálmán Körtvélyessy and his mother was Terézia Janiga.  His paternal grandparents were Pál Körtvélyesi and Teréz Vörös. He had a brother and three sisters, named Pál, Margit Anna, Amália and Irén.  He was the youngest of the five children.
