Sándor was born on November 5th, 1908 in Tiszaroff.¹

Sándor's father was István Körtvély and his mother was Julianna Pásztor.  His paternal grandparents were Sándor Körtvélyes and Eszter Cseppentő. He had two brothers and a sister, named <Unknown>, István and Klára.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 63 in 1971.¹
