Her paternal grandparents were Johann TIEFENBACH and Marinana STETNER; her maternal grandparents were Bernard HEHN and Katherina (--?--). She had five brothers and four sisters, named Georg Filip, Siegfried, Rudy, Joseph, Ernie, Adela Pauline, Adelina Isabella, Eva Elisa and Eleanore. She died at the age of 43 on August 25th, 1973 in Saskatoon, SK, Canada . Her burial was on August 28th, 1973 in West Lawn Cemetary, Saskatoon, SK, Canada.

  2Obituary, Aug 1973. "RUMPEL - The passing of Mrs. Alma Rumpel, age 43 years of 821 4th Street, Saskatoon, occured in a Saskatoon hospital on August 25. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 28 at 2 p.m. from the Augustana Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Del Christensen the family gratefully decline floral tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Augustana Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Park Funeral Chapel will be in charge . Surviving are: her loving husband Ruben, two sons: Rick and David both at home, her mother and father Mr. and Mrs. William Tiefenbach of McLean Sask., 4 sisters Mrs. W. R. Burke (Eva) of Saskatoon, Mrs. L Crowe (Adella) of Moose Jaw, Sask., Mrs. E. Flaman (Adelina) of Regina Sask., Mrs. H. Thiessen (Eleanor) of Clear Brook B.C.; 4 brothers: Sigfred Teifenbach of Hamilton, Ont., Rudy Tiefenbach of Regina, Sask., Joe Tiefenbach of Tisdale, Sask., Ernie Tiefenbach of Regina, Sask. Mrs. Rumpel was born in Regina and took her schooling at McLean Sask. She was married in 1948 and moved to Saskatoon in1969 where she has resided until her passing. Mrs. Rumpel was active in the Newcomers Club and also in Saskatoon bowling leagues and was a member of the Augustana Lutheran Church. Interment will be made in the Woodlawn Cemetery."

Pallbearers were: Merv Rumpel, Ray Burke, Harry Ball, Ken Adie, Harvie Burrows, Bert Walls. Interment was made in Woodlawn Cemetery. Park Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements."
