Louise was born on August 10th, 1842.  Louise's father was Jacob Sander and her mother was Catharina Umlauf.  Her paternal grandparents were Johann Sander and Maria Müller; her maternal grandparents were Johann Jakob Umlauf and Philippine Berlitz. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Johannes, Johann, Johann, Christian, Wilhelm, Peter, Philipp, Catharina and Elisabeth.  She was the eighth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 37 on September 29th, 1879.
