Carolina was born on February 15th, 1903.  Carolina's father was Andrew Siman and her mother was Anna Skolnick.  Her paternal grandparents were George Siman and Maria Roshan; her maternal grandparents are Mathew Skolnick and Susanna Virus. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Andrew, Rosalia, Maria, Susanna and Anna.  She was the youngest of the seven children.
