Anna was born on January 30th, 1895.  Anna's father was Andrew Siman and her mother was Anna Skolnick.  Her paternal grandparents were George Siman and Maria Roshan; her maternal grandparents are Mathew Skolnick and Susanna Virus. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Andrew, Rosalia, Maria, Susanna and Carolina.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
