Margareta Ioachimescu Mitta

Margareta was born on February 14th, 1891 and her christening was conducted by the priest.  Margareta's father was Stefan Ioachimescu and her mother was Alexandrina Popovici Ioachimescu.  Her paternal grandparents were Nicolae  Ioachimescu and Maria Ioachimescu; her maternal grandparents were Constantin Popovici and Pauna Popovici. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Ilie, Nicu, Iancu, Elisabeta, Ona and Titi.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 77 on August 22nd, 1968.  Her body was entombed in Bucuresti.

  Margareta Mitta, născută Ioachimescu, a fost foarte frumoasă şi talentată. Lucra mici statuete şi scria foarte frumos. Ina Voinescu păstrează aceste statuete şi un caiet cu povestiri privind oamenii şi locurile vizitate împreună cu soţul ei în călătoriile de serviciu ale acestuia.
  Frumuseţea ei a fost remarcata de regele Carol al II-lea care, după obiceiul lui (deloc frumos), a invitat-o în cupeul său. Margareta i-a spus: "Nu pot, sunt cu soţul meu." Carol al II-lea nu s-a supărat.
  La bătrâneţe nu-i placea să fie privită, mai ales pe patul de moarte.
