Elena(Ona) Ioachimescu Sona

Elena, known as Ona, was born in 1899 and her christening was conducted by the priest.  Ona's father was Stefan Ioachimescu and her mother was Alexandrina Popovici Ioachimescu.  Her paternal grandparents were Nicolae  Ioachimescu and Maria Ioachimescu; her maternal grandparents were Constantin Popovici and Pauna Popovici. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Ilie, Nicu, Iancu, Margareta, Elisabeta and Titi.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 91 on June 9th, 1990.  Her body was entombed in Bucuresti.
