Stefan and Alexandrina were married in a religious & civil ceremony on January 12th, 1886. They had three sons and four daughters, named Ilie, Nicu, Iancu, Margareta, Elisabeta, Ona and Titi. There are no more children.

- Nepoatele Alexandrinei - Ina Voinescu si Ligia Cretu stiu ca aceasta era foarte mica la casatoria ei. Ele cred ca avea 14, 15 ani. Eu - Ileana - stiu din povestirile mamei si ale tatei ca unul din copii Paunei s-a nascut la nunta surorii celei mari - Alexandrina. Daca acest copil este Ionel, cum cred eu ca stiu, atunci data casatoriei Alexandrinei este 1886; daca acest copil este Norica, atunci data nuntii este 1885.
  Las scise toate cele de sus si adaug: Fiind eu in vizita la Ligia si Ina, acestea au afirmat ceea ce am scris mai sus. Dar, tot atunci, ele mi-au dat felicitarea facuta de familie la aniversarea a 50 de ani de casnicie ai sotilor Alexandrina si Stefan Ioachimescu. Acest document confirma amintirile mele (Ileana Constantinescu David). Deci Alexandrina s-a casatorit cu Stefan la nasterea fratelui ei - Ionel. Ionel era nascut, la nunta surorii sale, de cinci zile. Iar Alexandrina avea 17 ani.
