Constanta, known as Tanti, was born on November 3rd, 1919 in Mizil and her christening took place there conducted by priest .1   Her godfather was Costica Alexandrescu and her godmother was Eleonora(Norica) Alexandrescu.  Tanti's father was Ioan(Ionel) Popovici and her mother was Victoria Ionescu (Popovici).  Her paternal grandparents were Constantin Popovici and Pauna Popovici. She had two brothers and a sister, named Puiu, Nelu and Olga.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died from a heart attack at the age of 73 on September 9th, 1993 in Iasi.  Her body was entombed in September 1993 at the Cimitirul Sfintii Petru si Pavel Iasi.2
