Amanda Ethel Fields

Amanda Ethel was born in 1905 in Avonport Kings Co Nova Scotia Canada.¹ Amanda Ethel's father was Fredrick A. Fields and her mother was Carolina Amelia Henwood. Her maternal grandparents were Jerry and Mary Alice Crowell. She had a brother and six sisters, named Patrick, Laura M., Elizabeth, Mary A., Annie E., Florence and Francis Gertrude. She died at the age of 92 on March 30th, 1997 in Hantsport Kings Co Nova Scotia Canada.¹

  PINCH, Amanda Ethel 92, Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, formerly of Pleasant Street,
  Hantsport, died March 30, 1997, in the lodge. Born in Avonport, Kings Co., she
  was a daughter of the late Fred and Caroline (Henwood) Fields. She had been a
  resident of Dykeland Lodge for over 10 years. She was the last surviving member
  of her immediate family. Surviving are daughter, Elva (Mrs. Ellis Redden),
  Windsor Forks; sons, Joe Saulnier, Harry Pinch, Hantsport; five grandchildren;
  nine great-grandchildren; stepdaughters, Kathleen Patterson, Hantsport; Mildred
  Killen, Jeddore/Oyster Pond. She was predeceased by her first husband, Elcide
  Saulnier; second husband, Edward Pinch; sisters, Annie Sweet, Laura Gates,
  Florence Barkhouse, Mary Colby, Frances Margenson; brother, Joseph (Pat)
  Fields; stepson, Gordon Pinch; stepdaughter, Dorothy Zwicker. Visitation 2-4,
  7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, both in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral
  Home and chapel, 194 King St., Rev. David Shaw officiating. Burial in Riverbank
  Cemetery, Hantsport. Donations to Dykeland Lodge.
