Blanche was born about 1316 in Wigmore, Couhe, Hertfordshire, England.1   Blanche's father was Roger De Mortimer and her mother was Joan De Geneville. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Edmund, Roger, Joan, Margaret, Agnes and Catherine.  She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.  She died in 1347.1
