Norman Thornton

Norman was born in 1900 in Barnoldswick, Yorkshire, England.¹ Norman's father was Dick Thornton and his mother was Elizabeth Whittaker. His paternal grandparents were James Thornton and Ellen Hartley. He had a brother and five sisters, named Dick, Rhoda, May, Maud, Clara and Jane E. He was the youngest of the seven children.
