Sarah Petty

Sarah was born in 1858 in Hartwith, Yorkshire, England.¹ Sarah's father was George Petty and her mother was Ann Wigglesworth. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Tom, Joseph, Ann, Maria, Mary Jane, Isabella and Hannah. She was the oldest of the eight children.
