Joseph Petty

Joseph was born in 1867 in Darley, Menwith, Hampsthwaite, Yorkshire, England.¹ Joseph's father was George Petty and his mother was Ann Wigglesworth. He had a brother and six sisters, named Tom, Sarah, Ann, Maria, Mary Jane, Isabella and Hannah. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children.
