Mary Jane Petty

Mary Jane was born in 1866 in Darley, Menwith, Hampsthwaite, Yorkshire, England.¹ Mary Jane's father was George Petty and her mother was Ann Wigglesworth. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Tom, Joseph, Sarah, Ann, Maria, Isabella and Hannah. She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.
