John L Beene 
John was born on January 11th, 1788 in Franklin County, Georgia, USA. John's father was Captain Robert Bean Sr. (Beene) and his mother was Martha (Womack) Beene. His paternal grandparents were Capt. William R. (Billy) Bean Jr and Lydia (Rusell) Beene. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Lemuel, Obadiah, William, Robert, Oliver, Jesse, Benjamin, Rhoda, Elizabeth, Isaac, Sally and Martha. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 58 in 1846.-
