Elizabeth was born in 1789. Elizabeth's father was Captain Robert Bean Sr. (Beene) and her mother was Martha (Womack) Beene. Her paternal grandparents were Capt. William R. (Billy) Bean Jr and Lydia (Rusell) Beene. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Lemuel, Obadiah, John, William, Robert, Oliver, Jesse, Benjamin, Rhoda, Isaac, Sally and Martha. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.-
