Zénaide was born on July 8th, 1801 in Paris.  Zénaide's father was Joseph Bonaparte and her mother was Juliette Clary.  Her paternal grandparents were Carlo Maria Buonaparte and Maria Laetitia Ramolino; her maternal grandparents are Francois Clary and Francoise Somis. She had two sisters named Julie Josephine and Charlotte.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 53 on August 8th, 1854 in Napoli.
