Charlotte was born on October 31st, 1802 in Paris.  Charlotte's father was Joseph Bonaparte and her mother was Juliette Clary.  Her paternal grandparents were Carlo Maria Buonaparte and Maria Laetitia Ramolino; her maternal grandparents are Francois Clary and Francoise Somis. She had two sisters named Julie Josephine and Zénaide.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 36 on March 2nd, 1839 in Sarzana.
