Richard was born on August 11th, 1891 in Líšeò.  Richard's father was Ludvík Egbert Belcredi and his mother was Marie Franckenstein, von und zu.  His maternal grandparents are Georg Franckenstein, von und zu and Maria Öttingen-Wallerstein, zu. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Egbert, Karel Jiøí, Jiøí Jindøich, Marie Anna "Marianne" and Anna Josefa.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 65 on August 20th, 1956 in Bad Tölz.
