Keshava Rao's father was Chintaiah Naidu Vallabha and his mother was Rukminamma (Rukku Bai) (Manakonda) Vallabha.  His paternal grandparents were Sri Vallabha Veera Venkata  Jeer Naidu Vallabha and Rangamma (Venkatamma) Vallabha. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Vasudeva Rao, Madhava Rao, Ramakrishna Rao, Nagula Kaka, Namdeva Rao, Shyamala Bai and Hemalatha Bai.  He was the sixth oldest of the eight children.  He died due to murder / assassination on January 8th, 2004.
