Uma Devi (Pinnishetty) was born in 1954.  Uma Devi (Pinnishetty)'s father was Rama Rao Pinnishetty and her mother is Janaki Devi (Sajjala) Pinnishetty.  Her maternal grandparents were Bhavanarayana  Rao Sajjala and Alivelumanga Thayaramma (Naraala) Sajjala.
