József was born on October 8th, 1883 in Bekölce and his christening took place on October 8th, 1883 in Balaton conducted by priest Ohács Titusz.1   His godfather was Holló Ferenc and his godmother was Utassy Mária.  József's father was István Hossó (Inas) and his mother was Rozál Dorkó.  His paternal grandparents were Hossó and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Dorkó and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and four sisters, named István (Pestu), Lojzi, Kálmán, Mária, Angyél, Veron and Rozál.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.
