Eszter was born on October 11th, 1895 in Aranyos and her christening took place there on October 12th, 1895 conducted by minister Gere Lajos.¹   Her godfather was Kovács András and her godmother was Székely Mária.

Eszter's father was Mihály Baga (Raga ?) and her mother was Teréz Szomódi.  Her paternal grandparents were Mihály Baga and Sára Balog; her maternal grandparents were János Szomodi and Susanna Macsai. She had six brothers and eight sisters, named Mihály, Barnabás, László, Gyula, Flórián, Ferenc, Erzsébet, Terézia, Júlianna, Eszter, Borbála, Mária, Zsuzsanna and Piroska. She had a half-sister named Szomódi.  She died as an infant, görcsök, at just 12 days old on October 23rd, 1895 in Aranyos.²
