Sancho I was born in 0932.  Sancho I's father was Ramiro II (King of Leon) and his mother was Urraca Sánchez of Pamplona.  His paternal grandparents were Ordoño II (King of Leon & Galicia) and Elvira Menéndez; his maternal grandparents were Sancho I of Pamplona and Toda Aznarez. He had a half-brother named Ordoño III.  He died at the age of 34 on December 19th, 0966.
