Henry was born in 1953.  Henry's father was Hugh Algernon Percy (10th Duke of Northum-berland) and his mother was Lady Elizabeth Scott.  His paternal grandparents were Alan Ian Percy (8th Duke of Northum-berland) and Lady Helen Gordon-Lennox. He had a brother named Ralph.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 42 in 1995.
