Henry was born in 1912.  Henry's father was Alan Ian Percy (8th Duke of Northum-berland) and his mother was Lady Helen Gordon-Lennox.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Percy (7th Duke of Northum-berland) and Lady Edith Campbell. He had a brother named Hugh.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 28 in 1940.
