Upon the death of her granduncle, the Rev. Sir John D’Oyly, 4th Baronet, in 1773, Miss Newcome became sole heir general, ex-Parte Materna of the Senior Branch of the House of D'Oy1y of Chislehampton. She also inherited an estate in her own right at Coldaston in Glouchestershire, England.

Maria Newcome, sole heir-general to D'Oyly of Chislehampton, exparte maternâ, born 18th December 1768, in Rutland Square, Dublin. This lady inherited an estate at Cold Aston, co. Gloucester, from her mother (since however disposed of), and was married in 1794 to the Rev. Mungo-Henry Noble (afterwards Waller) some time Rector of Clongill, co Meath (and son of James Noble, of Glassdrummon, co Fermanagh, whose family arms were, "Or, two lions passant in pale sable, between two flaunches azure, over all, on a fesse gules, three bezants," and himself proprietor of estates in co. Monaghan, by his wife. Miss Waller, heiress in her issue to the estate of Allenstown Kells, co Meath); and by him, who died in 1831 (having taken the name of Waller on inheriting Allenstown Kells), the said Maria, now living his widow, has had issue,
