Henrique “The Chaste” (King of Portugal)

Henrique, known as The Chaste, was born on January 31st, 1512. The Chaste's father was Manuel I “The Fortunate” (King of Portugal) and his mother was Maria of Aragon. His paternal grandparents were Ferdinand (Duke of Viseu) and Beatrice of Portugal; his maternal grandparents were Ferdinand II (King of Aragon) and Isabella I (Queen of Castille). He had two brothers and a sister, named João III, Duarte and Isabella. He was the second youngest of the four known children. He died at the age of 68 on January 31st, 1580.
