Alice de Gant 
Alice was born in 1119. Alice's father was Walter de Gant and her mother was Mahaut de Bretagne. Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert de Gant and Alice de Montfort. She had two brothers named Robert and Gilbert. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 62 in 1181.General Notes
Roger married Alice de Gant (d. c. 1181), daughter of Walter de Gant and widow of Ilbert de Lacy, and by whom he had two sons, Nigel and Robert.[
