Roger D’Oyly of Eston, second son, but heir, succeeded his father, and confirmed by various deeds all the gifts of his brother and parents to Eynsham Abbey.153 This Roger D'Oyly was evidently he who married Agnes, dau. of Eva, dau. of Baldwin de Redvers, second Earl of Devon, but by which of her three husbands (who were the above Anchetil de Gray of Rotherfield, co. Oxon., Ralph de Murdac of Broughton, in that county, and Andrew de Beauchamp), seems to be unknown. Redvers bore, "Or, a lion rampant azure, armed and langued gules."
