Richard D'Oyly, son of Robert,[199] who flourished during the reign of Edw. III., and resided at Bixebrond, co. Oxon. (an adjacent parish to Pushull), till he inherited the Pushull estate. In 1341 (15th Edw. III.) he was one of those parishioners of Bixebrond who made oath[200] before the commissioners and assessors of the Nonæ inquisitions, as to the value of the ninths of corn and wool, &c. in Bixebrond parish. He is known to have latterly resided at Pushull,[201] however; and marrying had issue,
