Norreys D'Oyly, gent. eldest son and heir of Dr. Thomas D'Oyly, resided in London, and at Stadhampton, in Oxfordshire; and no doubt derived his baptismal name from the General Norreys mentioned in one of Dr. D'Oyly's letters to the Earl of Leicester.—Norreys D'Oyly was twice married; first to Susan, daughter of John Langley, of London, by whom he had no issue; secondly, to Beatrice, daughter of — Nayler, widow of John Tanfield, by whom he had five daughters only; with whom it is presumed the English descendants of Dr. Thomas D'Oyly, bearing the name of D'Oyly, terminated.
