  V. Mary D'Oyly, married to Henry Hawtaine, Esq. of Cotharpe, or Colthorpe, co. Oxon., son of Gerald Hawtaine, of Easington, in that county, whose arms (granted in 1566) were, "Or, on a fesse cotised gules, between three asses' heads erased of the last (sometimes sable), an unicorn courant argent." She was living in 1633, and had four sons by her said husband, of whom
  1. Thomas Hawtaine was his heir, and succeeded to Colthorpe. He married Katherine, dau, of Sir William Dunch of Little Wittenham, co. Berks, and recorded his pedigree at the Oxfordshire visitation 1634.[318]
